Hepatitis C and Erectile Dysfunction

Filed under: Exhibitors — bonjovi @ 7:40 pm

Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes inflammation of the liver. The virus can be contracted through unprotected sex, infusion of contaminated blood or sharing contaminated needles and from an infected mother to the baby. The disease may cause permanent damage.

Hepatitis C is a serious disease that can be fatal if not treated properly. If the inflammation of the liver is not reversed the ailment becomes chronic and can lead to chronic liver disease in which the liver begins to fail where the only remedy may be a liver transplant. Although it cannot be said that Hepatitis C directly causes ED, there is overwhelming medical evidence to suggest a strong co-relation between Hepatitis C and erectile dysfunction.
